The Certified Vulnerability Management Professional (CVMP) is an intermediate, vendor-neutral certification for the analysts and engineers who run the vulnerability lifecycle. It validates that you can build an accurate asset inventory, scan and assess without drowning in false positives, prioritize by real risk using CVSS, EPSS, the CISA KEV catalog and business context rather than raw scores, drive remediation and mitigation to agreed SLAs, verify the fix, and report metrics that show risk actually falling. The exam is computer adaptive and performance-based, and the credential is kept current through continuing education.
