The Certified Metaverse Developer (CMVD) is an advanced, vendor-neutral certification for the people building metaverse experiences. It validates that you understand metaverse foundations and where they fit, can build 3D worlds and avatars, can work across development platforms and engines, can make assets interoperable across worlds, can design on-chain economies, and can keep identity, safety and governance in place. The exam is computer adaptive and performance-based, and the credential is kept current through continuing education.

CMVD is a continuing-education certification, like the CE credentials from CompTIA and ISC2. It is valid for three years from the day you pass.
