The Certified Game Developer (CGMD) is an advanced, vendor-neutral certification for the people building games. It validates that you understand game development foundations, can design mechanics and systems, can work with graphics and rendering, can handle physics and animation, can write gameplay code, and can optimize, test and ship a game. The exam is computer adaptive and performance-based, and the credential is kept current through continuing education.
