The Certified Edge Computing Professional (CECP) is an intermediate, vendor-neutral certification for the engineers who move compute out of the central cloud and closer to where data is made. It validates that you understand when and why to use the edge, can design edge infrastructure for constrained and unstaffed sites, choose connectivity across 5G, MEC, private wireless and satellite, orchestrate and update workloads across large fleets, run analytics and AI inference at the edge, and secure physically exposed devices end to end. The exam is computer adaptive and performance-based, and the credential is kept current through continuing education.
